Bikeathon 2017 - a fantastic day
Kingussie played host once again this year to the Bikeathon event which took place on the 25th June 2017 with well in excess of 200 riders taking part.
Now in its 24th year, this was the 2nd year charity partner CHSS (Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland) led the fundraising campaign.
The Bikeathon is an annual family cycle in the Cairngorms National Park with hundreds of people travelling from all over Scotland to take part. All ages and abilities and all types of bike are welcome with the fully supported route following quiet country roads.
This is definitely not a race – this is a great day out on your bike enjoying healthy exercise amidst stunning scenery and all the while helping people who are affected by debilitating chest, heart and stroke illness.
