Sustrans National Cycle Route 7 passes through Kingussie.    It is now possible to cycle from Glasgow to Inverness via the Drumochter and Slochd passes using segregated cycleways and quiet secondary roads, avoiding the dangers of the busy A9 trunk road .   Kingussie invites cyclists to rest a while or make an overnight stop here.
