The Ormiston Family are best known for their Pedigree Highland Ponies which they have been breeding in Badenoch since before 1860, we also have everything from Shetlands to 16.2 hh Horses. We are approved by the BHS, ABRS, TRSS and The Pony Club.
We offer everything from children’s Lead Rein Pony Rides up to week long Trail Riding Holidays. Our working and learning weeks are very popular too. Come along and meet the Team at NRC and we will make you very welcome - more than just a Riding Centre. Tuck Shop and Tack Shop, Teas and Coffees too, Highland Pony Heritage Centre, Birthdays, Hen and Stag Parties and Corporate too.
Ever dreamt of galloping away on a great white charger, leaving all your cares behind? Well, here in the surrounding countryside you will find stables catering for all levels of riders. You may not gallop away but you will be able to ride gently up hills and down heather clad moors, through forests and along river banks on well schooled ponies and escorted by experienced guides.
